The Punjab State Government is going to be conducting Teacher Eligibility Test in July 2011 . Government of Punjab (The Department of School Education) has given the responsibility of conducting the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test – PSTET 2011 to the SCERT, Punjab.

Those who are eligible candidates have to apply through online from 27-04-2011 to 13-05-2011, up to 5.00 pm. The information regarding Eligibility & Qualification is given below:---

Eligibility :
1) The minimum qualifications for class 1 to 5, Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education B. El. Ed.
2) The minimum qualifications for class 6 to 8, B.A./B.Sc and passed or appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4–year BA/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.).

Application Fee:
1) Non-refundable Bank Demand draft for Rs 500/- for GEN/OBC candidates
2) Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates.
3) Rs 1000/- for those candidates who intend to appear for both papers 1 and 2  for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs 600/- for SC/ST candidates
4) Non-refundable Bank Demand draft will be made in favour of Director, CDAC, Mohali, payable at Mohali/Chandigarh.

How to apply:
1) The eligible and interested candidates have to apply through online from http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in between 27-04-2011 to 13-05-2011, up to 5.00 pm.
2. Before applying online, candidates pay the application fee in the form of demand draft for Rs 500/- for GEN/OBC and Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of Director, CDAC, Mohali, and Payable at Mohali/Chandigarh.
3. After submission of online application, candidates require to 2 copies of the online application print outs and one copy of the online application send it with a self attested photograph along with the original demand draft of requisite fee, to the following address, “Director, C-DAC, A-34,Phase 8, industrial area Mohali, on or before 18-05-2011.

Last date of Receipt of application (online): 13-05-2011, up to 5.00 pm.
Last date of Receipt of Fee: 18-05-2011.
Fee reconciliation and uploaded the status for information to candidates: 01-06-2011.
Uploading of Admit Card (online): 03-06-2011.
Conduct of written Examination: 03-07-2011.
Declaration of Results: in July 2011.
