AICTE will beconducting National Level Computer based Common Management Admission Test(CMAT-2017) on 28th & 29th January 2017 for facilitating AICTE approvedInstitutions, University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Collegesto select suitable candidates for admission in Post Graduate ManagementProgrammes for the academic year 2017-18.

CMAT 2017Eligibility Criteria

The candidatesshall have to satisfy all the eligible conditions so as to apply for theexamination. The CMAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria are illustrated here. Theaspirant must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria at the time of applyingfor CMAT 2017

CMAT 2017Academic Qualification

Candidates musthave completed the graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT 2017 exam.Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declaredbefore commencement of admission for academic year 2017-18 can also apply forCMAT online exam

CMAT 2017Exam Pattern

CMAT is the onlinetest, which is conducted in AICTE. The candidates are required to go throughthe exam paper carefully so as to familiarize with the same.

Duration of test is3 hours

There shall benegative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall bededucted

A Trial test willbe available from 15th December 2016 onwards for the candidates to have a feelof the online test and navigation functionality. Candidates are advised to gothrough them carefully to familiarize themselves with the screens, layout, andnavigation

At the test venue,each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/shewill be provided with a scratch paper for calculations. After the test,candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be doneon any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room

No breaks will begiven during the test

How to Apply for CMAT 2017

The CMAT 2017Application Form is available now. Aspiring candidates must have to registerthem online for this exam; also, in the meantime, the candidates must have toverify their eligibility

PaymentProcedure

Payment can be donevia two modes:

i. Online Payment:You can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then do the payment using Credit card /Debit Card/Net Banking

Once your paymentis successfully done, you will receive a confirmation E-mail and SMS. Once youhave received the successful payment confirmation, you can proceed with theremaining part of registration process

ii) Cash Payment inSBI bank: You can select this option to pay by CASH at any of the designatedSBI bank branch. Once you select this option and proceed, you will see aCHALLAN on your screen with your details already filled in it

You need to take 3PRINT OUTS of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all thecopies, and walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch with CASH on the next dayof generation of Challan. Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next dayof your Challan Generation

E.g. If youGenerate and Print the Challan copies on 10th October 2016, then walk in to thenearest SBI bank branch with Challan copies and CASH from 11th October 2016onwards

Similarly if youPRINT the CHALLAN copies on 10th October 2016, then walk in to the nearest SBIbank branch with Challan copies and CASH from 11th November 2016 onwards

Note

The last date topay CASH in bank is 11th December 2016 and from there onwards to completeregistration is 13th December 2016. Submission of final application afterpayment will not be possible after 13th December 2016

Test Fee:General/OBC Rs.1400/- plus bank charges as applicable; SC/ST/PD Rs.700/- plusbank charges as applicable
